Default ACP vs FIDE

"MC" wrote in message
IMHO, with 110 players out of 128 signing the Players' Undertaking it is
becoming obvious that the ACP has no pull, and that, contrary to the ACP's
motto ("Injustice done to one is a threat to all.") when it comes to the
bottom line, players care far more about their own personal aspirations

the common good of chess and fellow chess players.

The problem is that there is no real sponsorship for professional chess.
Only a few chess players like Kasparov or Kramnik have been sponsored by
computer companies recently. If ACP doesn`t find independent sources of
financing chess professionals we will be still watching the bureaucracy of
FIDE and the dictatorship of its president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
